About Us
After 16 years behind the stove in multiple restaurants and four hotel openings under his belt, Scott left the kitchen side of the business and moved to the distribution side. He joined a high quality wholesale meat distributor specializing in cut steaks and spearheaded the start of the specialty meat division focusing on game meats, birds and other hard to find unique perishable foods. The division grew to include over 350 items and multi million dollars in annual sales. Scott then moved to the manufacturing side, working with a company specializing in hand crafted hors d’oeuvre. Here he opened and developed distribution in New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, Las Vegas and Toronto as well as other cities across the US and Canada.
In 2005 Scott ventured out on his own and started Preferred Fine Foods with the goal of bringing higher quality prepared foods to the Atlanta market. Preferred Fine Foods now represents some of the highest quality hand crafted foods and through wholesale distribution has expanded to include the entire Southeast, Caribbean, Ohio and Canada.
